It seems as if today’s society has become so fast-paced we don’t take the time to recognize nor acknowledge a job well done.
I’d like to take time right now to commend you for being flanked by such a fine sales and service staff.
Dick Boyer of your sales staff has the patience of Job! After almost 3 weeks of phone calls, questions and onsite visits, I finally appeared in his office with all the required paperwork. After reviewing such, I asked Dick if he would please move as quickly as possible so as not to allow my husband to have a “change of heart”. Much to my surprise, Dick was on the phone with me the following morning asking if this was quick enough.
My entire family watched the installation process with all the normal high anticipation I’m sure every first-time pool owner experiences. We were extremely impressed with their speed, professionalism, and patience. With the temperature in the mid -90’s and way high humidity, they never seemed to falter or take any breaks! Their dedication (and sweat!) made me feel guilty that I was watching from the window of my air conditioned living room and not out there helping!
Dick Hershman, along with his son Jeff and Mark Walker make a fine crew. Hold on to them Dolphin, there aren’t too many like them!
Please pass my comments on to each of the above. I realize my letter is rather lengthy, but my husband and I agree they are the best.

When we contracted you to build our new pool, we were anxious for it to begin and more anxious for its completion. We were excited and very pleased with the final result and eagerly jumped in, even though it was late in the season of 2006 and the water was rather chilly. 2007 rolled around and we began in earnest taking advantage of the relief a pool provides but were having problems with a continuum of proper chlorine and alkalinity balance. The pH level was never an issue.
During ’07, and ’08 it was a constant battle, costing a lot to recover from green, brown, and gold and black algae, not to mention water so cloudy it reminded me of the early morning fog in London. We consulted with you many times and every time your recommendations to correct this problem worked but when it rained or got too hot we were once again fighting an uphill battle to maintain crystal clear, chemically balanced water.
This year is a whole other story. For those customers of yours who are even remotely thinking of converting to a salt water system, THINK NO MORE, JUST DO IT! We have had the system since we opened our pool in late April and have done absolutely NOTHING but turn it on and enjoy the water. It is constantly clear, in balance and it is idiot proof! If anyone wants confirmation you can contact us directly and we will stand by this system. It is an amazing product and anyone who does not want to incur the extra cost during their new pools installation is foolish because eventually you will relent and get one. Unless, however, you like weekly trips to your local pool chemical supply store, doing the work of adding waiting and measuring again and again, and never knowing if the pool party or barbecue you have planned for a special occasion will provide you with a sparkling clear pool. Fear not with a salt system!
Thank you soooo much,
Joe and Gale

This letter is a follow up of our discussion yesterday of the maintenance free longevity of our Esther Williams pool. Until last week, the only major replacement on the pool in over 19 years has been the electric motor and pumps on the Jacuzzi filtering system.
We purchased our pool from Dolphin in the spring of 1981. The original liner was replaced by your employees last week. Do you think the new liner will last 19 years?
The pool will look like new when I replace the carpet on the deck. Our Esther Williams pool has been one of the best investments we have made and over the years, while we raised our family, it has been the center of our summer relaxation.
Thank you for talking me into investing in the best pool on the market.
We attended the 2002 Home and Garden Show in Tulsa. We were not in a position to get a pool last year, but we were helped greatly by one of your associates at the show. We don’t remember her name, but she was patient with novices like ourselves, answering all of our dumb questions.
This year we went back to the 2003 show armed with more knowledge and finances. Your associate Kenny Smith, took a great deal of time explaining all of the various features, styles, types and finishing options of your above ground pools. We wanted to go look at your place on 11th to see the difference in sizes (we went with the bigger pool after viewing them), and he was even kind enough to give us his cell number to get back into the show and talk to all of you again. He answered every question we had, and seemed very knowledgeable about your products.
Employees that have great attitudes and know how to serve like this are rare in this day and time. We have already begun to stock up on sunscreen and have staked where we want to swim!
